Activity Update for Higher Education
Higher education members of the Better Buildings Alliance met to learn about the latest progress on technology development, and deployment resources, of the expert-led Technology Solutions teams. These teams cover innovative energy savings opportunities associated with lighting, space conditioning, energy management information systems, labs, renewables, food service, and plug loads. The Market Solutions teams are working to break down barriers associated with financing, leasing, access to data, and more. Join the Interior Lighting Campaign (ILC)
The Interior Lighting Campaign (ILC) is the latest Better Buildings lighting initiative designed to help facility owners and managers save energy and money by adopting high efficiency troffer lighting solutions. By adopting the performance levels and strategies recommended by the ILC, building owners can save up to 75% in their troffer lighting costs with the use of high efficiency troffers and controls. Take advantage of these savings opportunities by joining the Interior Lighting Campaign.

Participate in the Lighting Energy Efficiency in Parking (LEEP) Campaign
LEEP into lighting and lower your facility's exterior lighting operating costs through thoughtful design of a new parking site or lighting retrofits. Participants are eligible for technical assistance, recognition, and awards! The Lighting and Electrical team provides tools and resources for adopting high-efficiency lighting in your parking lots and parking structures.

Save energy by managing your laboratory's freezers, reheat, and fume hoods
