We can accept some late applications as part of the main admissions cycle. In March, we move to rolling admissions for the upcoming school year and accept applications through early August on a space-available basis.

We require one teacher recommendation, ideally from a core subject instructor in Language Arts or Math. In addition, we DO NOT require the SSAT, but are happy to accept the scores if your student is already sitting for the test.
FINANCIAL AID DEADLINE: The priority deadline for financial aid applications is early March. Financial aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. We continue to accept financial aid applications beyond this deadline until all funds are allocated. If you have any questions, please contact Kelcie Bartley, Diversity Coordinator, at 314-962-9355, ext. 129 or kbartley@thecollegeschool.org or Marc Langhauser, Business Manager, at 314-962-9355, ext. 116 or mlang@thecollegeschool.org.
Applicants visit in classrooms. Preschool, kindergarten and first grade applicants visit for an hour in a small group with classroom teachers on a weekday afternoon in February. Second through eighth grade applicants visit for a full school day in their current grade. Middle School (grades 6-8) applicants also meet with a core Middle School teacher during their visit day for a 25-30 minute informal conversational interview.
